Chiswick singer Sophie Ellis Bextor has announced she is pregnant with her third child.

She has already managed to juggle a successful signing career with being a mother of two young sons.

The former Goldolphin and Latymer pupil , who grew up in Chiswick, announced that she is expecting her third child with bassist husband Richard Jones.

She made the announcement on Twitter and wrote: 'I am having another baby. Due in Spring. A little brother or sister for Sonny and Kit. Family e-b-jones are happy and excited. It's a lovely thing.

'By the way, work on album 5 continues as usual. In fact, I now have a deadline! In the studio as we speak.'

Sophie and Richard, who plays with the band The Feeling, are already parents to sons Sonny, 7, and two-year-old Kit.
Both proved to be difficult pregnancies for Sophie as Sonny was born eight weeks premature by emergency cesarean section after she developed pre-eclampsia.

And Kit was also premature, weighing just 2 lb 10oz when he arrived nine week.
