Chiswick Business Park Has An Art Attack

Children leave mark on award winning development

Chiswick Business Park has opened its doors to pupils from St Mary’s RC Primary School, who attended a master-class in art, held in one of the office park’s buildings.

With local artist Keith Stanfield as tutor, 35 year 5 students (aged 9 – 10 years) picked up some essential tips and techniques which helped them to create their own master piece.

Drawing inspiration from Chiswick Business Park’s award winning, futuristic buildings, set amidst a backdrop of landscaped lawns, trees and lake, the pupils were asked to produce a drawing based on their impressions of the business park. All the pictures will now remain on display at the walkway to Building 3.

The inspiring environment and expert tuition from Keith Stanfield clearly rubbed off on the youngsters and the standard of work was very high. However, Keith singled out Jonathan Millis for a special mention for his picture of rocks and buildings, showing the future of the Park.

Sarah Green, Chiswick Park Enjoy-Work, said “We enjoy strong links with the community and are committed to supporting the education of local school children through initiatives such as this. The children really enjoyed it, and their work has certainly brightened up a corner of one of our offices!”
