A male cyclist has been injured on Chiswick High Road after a collision with a car this Tuesday afternoon (16 February).

Unconfirmed reports say that the vehicle was reversing out of driveway leading to a car park at the back of a building near the junction with Netheravon Road and onto Cycleway 9.

London Ambulance Service were called and a gurney was seen being used to carry the victim.

The segregated cycleway is bi-directional at the point where the collision took place but there is no indication in which direction the cyclist was travelling.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said, "We were called at 2.44pm today (16 February) to reports of a road traffic collision involving a cyclist on Chiswick High Road.

"We sent an ambulance crew. A man was treated at the scene and taken to a hospital with a leg injury."

The Metropolitan Police have been approached for further details.
