Chiswick High Road Closed After Pedestrian Hit By Car
Major traffic jams in area following incident near bus garage
Roads in and around the Chiswick area were gridlocked this Monday afternoon (14 August) after the High Road was closed following a traffic collision.
The incident which took place around 4pm involved a male pedestrian and a car near the Stamford Brook bus garage.
The High Road was closed from Homefield Road to Airedale Avenue in both directions.
The victim who is reportedly in his sixties was taken to a West London hospital with what police have described as non-life threatening injuries. No arrests have been made.
Chiswick High Road has now reopened.
