Chiswick High Road Closed After Accident

Reports of a pedestrian being hit by a vehicle outside Gunnersbury station

Chiswick High Road was closed for over an hour during rush hour this Friday evening (12th December) between Chiswick Roundabout and Acton Lane due to a road traffic accident. The first reports of the incident were received after 5pm and the road was clear before 7pm.

According to the BBC's web site a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle outside Gunnersbury station.

It is the second accident in the vicinity in recent months. On October 29th a woman was described as being 'thrown up in the air' after being hit by a van.

Bus Routes 27 237 267 391 H91 were subject to diversion and delays.
