Teenager Suffers Head Injuries After Collision With Van


Driver Administers First Aid After Moped Rider Hits His Windscreen

On Monday 23rd April at around 8.00am a moped travelling along Chiswick High Road collided with a van at the junction with Acton Lane.

The moped rider, an 18 year old Chiswick man, suffered head injuries when he hit the windscreen of the van.

PCSOs Stuart Macey and Karl Thomas from Turnham Green Safer Neighbourhoods Team were on scene immediately however, it was the van driver, a qualified first aider, who provided first aid at the scene.

Police closed the road for a short time while the casualty was attended to and the debris cleared.

The injured man was taken to Charing Cross hospital where he was treated for his injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.
