Car Crash Closes Chiswick High Road
Worrying spate of incidents continues
Chiswick High Road is currently closed in both directions from Oxford Road North to Chiswick Roundabout with delays on Gunnersbury Avenue after a collision involving an ambulance and an estate car.
There have been no reports of any injuries relating to the incident.
This accident marks the third in a matter of days on the High Road.
Last week a female cyclist was knocked from her bike when a car door was opened into the cycle lane. The High Road was closed to vehicles around the junction with Turnham Green Terrace.
The High Road was also closed the previous evening following a collision involving a female pedestrian. The victim was hit by a car near Zizzis restaurant and was taken Charing Cross hospital but her injuries are not life threatening.
