St Michael's Elmwood Road supporting the Children's Society
Wear something orange for our special children’s Christmas ‘Christingle’ event, happening on Sunday 8 th December at 3.30pm at St Michael's Church, Elmwood Road.
This event is a family service to support the work of the Children’s Society and is organized by the children of the congregation.
The children of the congregation have worked hard to make this a special family event, and invite everyone to come and join in. The theme this year is to wear something orange to show support for the charity. (and have some fun!)
Everyone is invited to come and join in and celebrate, there will be cakes and cookies plus drinks and a great chance to meet your neighbours and join in the Christmas spirit whilst supporting the Children’s society.
Don’t forget to wear something orange, it can be a scarf, a jumper, a hat, or even just a badge. (or you can go all out if you are really keen to wear that orange suit from the 1970’s- this is the perfect time to dig it out!)
Fun for all ages, please do come along and show your support for the children that have organized this special service to help the many other children in need of the work of the Children’s Society.
