A number of fundraising events are being held in Chiswick for Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C).

On Saturday 2 November five-piece rock band Liquorice Moon will be performing a mixture of blues, rock and funky music at the Cancer Research Shop at 278 Chiswick High Road. There will be a chance to catch them at either 11:30am or 4pm.

Then on Monday 4 November at 6:30pm at The Lamb on Barley Mow Passage, a ‘Catwalk’ is being held at which vintage and upcycled clothes will be model with the chance to acquire some great pieces. Tickets for this event cost £5.

SU2C enables scientific breakthroughs by funding collaborative, multidisciplinary, multi-institutional scientific cancer research teams and investigators. Thanks to the support of partners and the entertainment community, SU2C is able to bring widespread attention to cancer research and treatments.
