Group Cycling from West of Ireland to W4

Epic ride for Alzheimer’s Society ends in Chiswick Business Park

An epic cycle ride by four Irish office works comes to an end in Chiswick this Monday (June 3rd)

As part of the Office 2 Office cycle challenge a group of people who work in the Genworth office in Shannon, on the west of Ireland, are cycling over the course of five days to the Genworth office in Chiswick Park London. The route is 589 kilometres long and includes 16 catagorised climbs! The team of riders are Ed English, Jean Spillane, John Thickbroom, Sharon Lawlor and Mark Doherty.

The cycle is in aid of Alzheimer’s Society who provide support and help to people with dementia and their families. The services the Alzheimer's Society provide are vital to many sufferers and their families who simply could not cope without them.

The riders are covering their own costs so every cent donated will go to the charity. The cyclists have set a target of £5000 to raise for the charity which the Genworth Foundation have kindly agreed to contribute to.
