Great Big Get Together in March
Get involved in The Mulberry Centre's fun fundraiser for cancer support
This year The Mulberry Centre is calling on offices, schools and social groups across the borough to take part in the very first Great Big Get Together this March. The Great Big Get Together is a chance for you, your friends, work collegues, class mates or family to take time out, have a chat and fundraise for local people affected by cancer. You could arrange a cake sale at your school or invite friends round for dinner.
The Mulberry Centre is a local, independant charity that provides practical and emotional support for cancer patients, their families and carers. They also support anyone who has been bereaved through cancer. All the money raised from events will help The Mulberry Centre to continue to provide free support to anyone affected by cancer. Brenda (left) said: “The Mulberry Centre helped me enormously when I had breast cancer. Being able to get together with others in a similar position to me was invaluable in staying positive at a very difficult time.”.
