Former pupils, staff and governors sought to celebrate 150th anniversary
The school has been serving the Brentford community since 1873
July 21, 2023
St Paul’s Church of England Primary School in Brentford will be celebrating its 150th anniversary later this year.
It has been serving the local community since 1873 and to mark the occasion it will be holding a series of events and activities throughout the 2023/24 academic year.
As part of the celebrations, the school would like to make contact with ex-pupils, staff and governors.
Head Teacher John Wright says, “We would like to invite ex-pupils, staff and governors to help us mark this event by recording their most vivid memories of their time at St Paul’s. Ideally, we would like a voice recording but would also welcome written text and any photos of school days past. Perhaps it was a school trip, a particular teacher, a group of friends or a specific event or day in the history of the school that stays with you as a memory of the school.”
You can send any contributions to the school via email at: 150years@stpauls.hounslow.sch.uk or by post to: St Paul’s CE Primary School, St Paul’s Road, Brentford, TW8 0PN. Make sure to share who you are, when you were connected with the school and your memory.
The school plans to use the memories to create an audio-visual archive of our school, which it will shall share during the anniversary year.
