Three arrests as Sri Lankan party violently attacked
Police are investigating a serious violent incident that took place at the Holiday Inn Hotel, Brentford High Street, in the early hours of Saturday morning (27th September).
Members of the Sri Lankan community were attending a function when a group of white youths have gone into the hotel, racially abused the guests and then indiscriminately attacked them.
Police responded swiftly, and one youth was arrested in the vicinity, and two more arrests were made a few hours later. Police are confident that the rest of the group will be apprehended once they have had a chance to study CCTV footage.
Five people were injured in the attack including two with broken noses and one with a fractured leg
The suspects are all white, male and mostly in their twenties. The three arrested so far are all local men from Brentford, all released on bail pending further enquiries.

Three arrests so far, there will be more. Police are absolutely determined to ensure that those responsible will be brought to justice.
