Man Stabbed on High Street During Morning Rush Hour

A man has been taken to hospital after being stabbed on Acton High Street on Tuesday morning (22 August).

The police say they were called to a report of an injured man at around 8.09am.

As well as the police and ambulance and a London Air Ambulance helicopter attended the incident.

The 40-year-old man was rushed to hospital after suffering a single knife wound. According to the latest update he is in a stable condition.

A cordon was set up from the Savers store on the High Street down to Locarno Road where forensics officers were observed working.
