Drugs including viagra stolen from Noel Road pharmacy
Police are searching for thieves who stole drugs including viagra and anit-depressants from a Acton pharmacy this week.
The burglary took place at the Chemist Shop in Station Parade, Noel Road, Acton between 1840 on 16th July and 0845 on 17th July.
Police believe the suspects gained access to the chemist via a window at the rear of the shop. Once inside a number of locked rooms were forced open and the contents strewn about in a search. The suspects made off via a back door.
A quantity of cash and a drugs cabinet were stolen. The cabinet contained a large selection of prescription drugs.
It has been established that the suspects have stolen in total over £1,100 woth of the following drugs:
Oxynorm (brand name for a type of Oxycodone) 5mg capsules – This is a type of morphine and used as a strong painkiller
Oxycodone 1ml ampoules - As above
Morphine Sulphate 1mg tablets - Morphine based strong pain killer
Temazepam 10 mg & 20 mg tablets - Sedative
Diazepam 2mg, 5mg & 10 mg tablets - Sedative
Amitriptyline 10mg, 25mg & 50mg tablets - Anti-depressant
Viagra 50mg tablets
Ealing Police have issued a health warning to drugs users that experimenting with medicines can have serious health consequences. They have asked parents to reinforce to their children the dangers of playing with medicines and ask them to contact police if their children come across the medicines.
