Winners announced

Following the submission of many beautiful pieces of art from children who live in Chiswick, local estate agent, Paul Cooney, Director of Horton and Garton Chiswick, has chosen the winners whose artwork will be shown on the LED billboard (above Joe and the Juice on Turnham Green Terrace) through February.

The only brief given was for children to depict what ‘home' means to them. 

From their bedrooms to family pets and even a castle – the kids of W4 didn't disappoint with their wonderful creations. 

The winners are:

1st Place – Evie, aged 11. We loved Evie's stunning streetscape ‘What home means' and all the little details she included that represent the W4 community and how everyone has banded together in support over the past 12 months. 

2nd Place – Aila, aged 9. An image of Aila standing in an embrace with her sister Imaan.

 

3rd Place – Maisie. An image of mother and child ‘home is where the heart is'. 

Each of the top three places will have their artwork featured on the LED board, receive a children's hamper filled with yummy Italian gluten-free goodies from 1990 Gluten Free Homemade and a voucher for Mummy Wine Club (this part of the prize, is for the grown-ups of course).

It was incredibly challenging to choose just 3 winners and felt another piece of art deserved praise and recognition. 

A surprise 4th Place has been awarded to Hussain, aged 10 – for his beautiful tribute to his grandmother and gift to his mum. His grandmother was their home. Hussain will receive a hamper from 1990 Gluten Free Homemade. 

Hussain's art will feature on the billboard in a collage of the art we received but that didn't win one of the top places – the collage will be shown in the last week of February.  

The winning creations will be shown every 4 minutes for 10 seconds for 1 week each, from 1st  February until 21st February on the LED billboard (above Joe and the Juice on the corner of Turnham Green Terrace and the High Road).
